Buying a Self-Loading Mixer for Export: Shipping, Duties & After-Sales

jbc6000-7

Importing a self-loading concrete mixer is straightforward when you know what to check. Whether you buy one machine or a container of them, here is what matters beyond the price tag.

1. Shipping & packing

Self-loading mixers ship by sea — in containers for smaller models, or as break-bulk / RoRo for larger units. A 17.5 m flatbed can carry, for example, two 4 m³ machines plus a 1.6 m³. A good factory handles export packing and loading for you, so the machine arrives ready to work.

2. Documents

Confirm the supplier provides a full export document set — commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and any certification your country requires. LUZUN machines carry EU certification and invention patents, which helps with customs and tenders.

3. Import duties & compliance

Check your country’s HS code and duty rate for concrete mixers, and any emission-standard requirement for the engine. A factory that exports widely can advise on engine options (for example a 6-cylinder DEUTZ on larger models) to match your market.

4. Spare parts & after-sales

A mixer is a heavy-duty special vehicle, so parts availability matters more than with ordinary trucks. Insist on a spare-parts kit with the order, ongoing parts supply, and remote technical support. Buying from a source manufacturer rather than a trader means genuine parts and direct engineering help.

5. Buy factory-direct

Factory-direct purchase removes the trader markup and gives you real support and OEM options. As a manufacturer since 2009 exporting to 80+ countries, LUZUN ships single units and full fleets with export packing, parts and training included.
